Mathematical Interest
Learning probability theories, especially the stochastic processes, has been one of my long-last hobbies (While I have yet got a chance to use them in my research!). Below are some of my treasures:
Learning probability theories, especially the stochastic processes, has been one of my long-last hobbies (While I have yet got a chance to use them in my research!). Below are some of my treasures:
- How to Become a Pure Mathematician: A great summary of textbooks for anyone who wants to learn more math, albeit I think I have lost the change to become a pure mathematician, I will try to be an application one.
- Almost Sure: Fantastic website with information about the stochastic processes.
- Queueing Theory: Link of tons of queueing theory source.
- Probability Website: Link of sources for probability.
Zhihu
I have an account on zhihu (知乎), a Chinese version of Quora where people ask and answer questions. I had an exploded queue of invitations for questions there, but given the limited time, I think I have to fail in maintaining it stable.

Non-Fictions
Reading books, particularly the non-fictions, is also what I do in my leisure times. Yes, I am those bitches who carry a paper book on an airplane, to pretend that I was an educated (文化人). Some of the cool things are listed here.
My recent interest is in the South-East Asia, while Europe was my love in the teenage years unfortunately that did not end up a marriage.

Traveling on the Lonely Planet
One of the nice byproduct of academic research is that you can take visit a lot of places in the world. I've always enjoyed traveling around the world, to see different architectures, meet different people, and experience different culture. Of course, I also enjoy eating foods from different countries. In fact, born as a Cantonese, I am a natural enemy to many creatures on the earth - as long as that can be made into a dish, I have an intention to try out. My particular favorites are the street foods, that have many good tastes but very few services - I don't care, if the food is very good, you can punch me in the face.
Below are some interesting memories.
